Enipeas is a long stream, its springs being at about 1000m / 3280ft at Prionia section and meets Litohoro at the mountain’s feet, running along the eastern slopes of Mt. Olympus. The canyoning section of Enipeas starts at the height of the monastery of Saint Dionysios, at 2755 ft/840 m, and finishes at Litohoro at about 300m.
The length of the canyon reaches approx. 6km, meaning that a long crossing time is required (about 7-8 hours), as well as top physical condition. Furthermore, visitors have the chance to experience gorgeous steep sections, numerous narrow passage and many jumps from high rocks, right into the crystal clear waters of the stream. The most recommended season to visit this spot is from April to mid October.
