Mount Kissavos (alternative Ossa), is a mountain in the Larissa regional unit, in Thessaly, Greece. It is 1,978 metres (6,490 ft) high and is located between Pelion to the south and Olympus to the north, separated from the latter by the Vale of Tempe. This location is ideal for all kinds of alternative activities, including canyoning, hiking / trekking, mountain biking etc.
There are numerous routes you can choose from, according to your mountain biking skill level and experience. However, all of them are full of biking through very deep forests, impressive valleys and steep ascents and descents. The duration of the activity depends on the route you are going to follow and the spot can be visited all year around. It is advisable to book an organized tour with one of the local clubs, in order to fully experience the beauties of the specific area.
