Spot Location

Grande Grotta is one of the most important crags on the island and is divided up into three sections, each with different characteristics, but each with one unique quality, that is the exceptional rock and routes. The routes start with the section called ‘’Afternoon’’, which got its name from the fact that it stays in the shade until after midday. This section is marked by its enormous corner and offers about 20 easy routes on rough rock. The central wall, the ‘Grande Grotta’, is perhaps the most impressive overhang on the island and definitely an obligatory stop-off point for the experienced climber. To the right of  ‘Grande Grotta’, lies the section called ‘Panorama’, with its slightly overhanging, technical and pumpy routes. In a few words, this spot is the ideal destination for every passionate rock climber.

Rock Climbing requires specific equipment and techniques that must be adapted to the natural environment.
